Why not? The bed isn't articulated it fits on to the chassis cab so I don't see why you couldn't tow a chipper.

Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

The load bed and axle is registered as a trailer and you need BE to drive the combo.

Add a chipper, and you will in principle be towing two trailers.

Is the hitch homologated for UK?

I considered a 5th wheel mini artic on a Isuzu Grafter which gave a payload of nearly 4 tonnes but I think only those with B+E before 2013 could tow it as now the trailer weight for B+E is restricted to 3.5 tonnes and I doubt they will allow for the super imposed weight of the semi trailer being on the chassis.

Can't find the original post that linked to this:

http://www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicles/,129,/Event_+_Expedition_Vehicles.htm

But here it is featured in LRO July issue with a 4 page spread!

What an outfit. Built 3 years ago by Supercat for the RN as an all terrain carrier vehicle and work shop for submarine drones.

Snapped up by Withams (for a song no doubt) 3 years after manufacture.

I'd hazard a guess it carried a staggering price tag and that it's never seen mud and barely even been used.

If this is not a scandalous example of waste and stupidity in defence procurement I'll eat my Hilux!!

I wonder if the forum member from supercat might care to comment?
