Yes, I've had 2 hilux, a Navarra and now have the old Mazda/ranger, Ive been impressed with my ford garage over the years (see other thread) I reckon the Nissan looks a bit dated these days, so it was a toss up between another hilux and this, the fact I know and like the ford dealers swung it for me.

They make the effort to pronounce my name when I walk in, it's often the little things!

Not that I've seen, I wanted a proper 4 door 4 seat like my current one, but they've withdrawn the VAT allowance on them (I understand they have over there as well) so it had to be a small rear seat job.

it does have suicide doors that open the "other way" so the dog can get in alright.

Nice truck. There was questions about VAT on double cabs over here too, but it was decided aslong as it has a pickup bed and a seperate cab then the number of seats is irrelevant

Nice truck Mick:thumbup1: The bit you lose in the rear seats you gain in the load space so its probably going to work out better as a work truck.

Cheers, the thing that's keeping me awake at night is people pulling gear out from the side, like ropes with krabs or harnesses that'll constantly chip away at the paintwork over the wheel arches.

It's going to be a difficult adjustment.
