general work trousers

Tried a few but they are so thick and hot to work in during the summer months. I just use a pair of Craghopper Kiwi classic. Last a lot longer than you would think for such lightweight trousers and nice and cool.

Any suggestions for lightweight & breathable work trousers for hot days? I've been wearing hiking trousers but they tend to get easily ripped.

we have used stihl brushcutter trousers very hard wearing and has reflective material on them as well !

Rohan trousers.

Striders, expensive, only in grey now sadly but breath and dry fast. Also light weight polycotton ones called 'bags' for hedge work and general brash dragging in 30c heat.

I use woodland pattern British army surplus trousers. £8 a pair and they last for ages!

I really like stretch jeans , great for climbing aswell ( without chainsaw ) . nice to have naturals fibres on in the summer time.

Escapers are good for hot temps too .Not as tough as bags though
