Which Grease Gun?

hi guys, what make of grease gun do you use?

 

trying to be a little more organised so im fitting every machine with tool boxes, basic tools and a grease gun.

 

but who makes a well made grease gun? i bought a draper this morning thinking whats the worst that can happen and as i put it together it fell apart:thumbdown: the older ones in the workshop have no writing on them so any help would be much appreciated

I've got two of these - clarke CGG120 hand grease gun.

A bit messier to fill than a cartridge gun but small enough to fit in the chipper and grinder tool boxes and have been good reliable guns for me.

Yes I had a draper too about £30 and as I screw the head on the thread was soon weak that I ended up rounding it off on the first go! One day I'll shell out for a wanner one. My dads had his for 30years.

 

Likewise, a Wanner "one day"... My Dad also has one :thumbup1:

 

I find samoa ones are pretty good, fairly strong and last well, about £15 i think.

 

Currently got the Samoa (from Pirtek I think); the best of a bad lot. With a growing pile of scrap grease guns, just get the best the first time.
