Just toying with idea of a pickup instead of defender and trailer. Is it straight forward to get 2 m3 of logs in a decent sized pickup with greedy boards?

Possible contenders are Ranger and Isuzu as it will also be used on the farm and need decent towing capabilities.

Edit. No need for a tipper as I presume a Load handler would work well.

Ditto

I will add its probably best to get some load leveling shocks or heavy duty springs to stop it looking overloaded even when they are not.

I have an old Nissan D21 double cab and get 2 cubic metre bags on the back by putting the back tail gate down flat! Doesn't look or feel overloaded and easy to get off in under 60 seconds!
