Ive have sthil hiflex off an old boss, they were really light weight and easy to climb in but just keep getting ripped, and they are to too warm in summer.

 

the stretch airs I had in 2005 were too heavy but loose which made them good in summer I did'nt get chaffed like the sthils. and the lasted, untill i spilt batery acid on them, I am using some of the old materiel to patch the sthils outer fabric, looks great red patches on black.

I'm interested in those lightweight type A's from SevSafe...but they don't come small enough! Does anybody sell 28" waist for midget climbers? BTW I'm not in the UK so don't need C's for anything!

Have any of you tried the new Stetch air Gladiator type A's? Kevlar 100% waterproof front panel with lighter weight breathable material to rear. I bet you can get them from any of the better equipment suppliers.

 

Mate of mine runs a yard in Norfolk had a pair last year recons they are the mutts nutts, I also heard there may be a limited edition of specials coming in for the trade fair.

ive got the type a gladiators and they seem ok, only got them on saturday, little dubious of the light weight material on the backs of the legs as it seems to similar to the stuff stihl use

They don't I'm afraid - it's just the Stretch Air Type C's that are currently available with the extra 7cm, sorry.

 

I could do you a pair of Chainsaw Welly's to go with them, but I fear that misses the point a bit?!
