Drew, how much are the chainsaw chaps out there? Not the joined at the groin Stihl ones we have here. Tana Mahuta has some. Not approved here, but then neither is heat rash on my testicles...

Hi Mark,

ive got no idea on the price of chaps sorry mate, were not allowed to wear them at work so never looked into it. I will say that the vented husky pants must be pretty close for air conditioning though, but the mesh material stopping woodchips entering does look like your wearing fishnet stockings underneath ya pants. What ones has ross got? (not what type of fishnets):001_cool:

i'm after some type a chainsaw trousers for the summer, and was wandering what people thought were the best ones i had the camo ones from sevsafe in mind as stevie has said how good they are before, and my cs38 examiner said they were the dogs b's as well :confused1: ? cheers in advance :001_smile:

Joe, if you go for camo you'll end up cutting your leg off thinking its a branch! :001_tongue:

strech airs all the way , i have type a and type c's and really highly rate them , i got fed up of stihl and huskys crap trousers and went over to strech airs , as long as they keep making there trousers like they do i will keep buying them , they may be more costly but much better to work in and last much much longer

jonesie has been doing some good deals on them as well

I think they only do the camo ones in type C ??

It's true we only have camo in C now. We are introducing a new range which includes lightweight styles and also a hi-viz range but unfortunately not camo as yet. there's a very good deal on 'Supralight' trousers at the moment if you happen to be the right size!

sevsafe chainsaw safety trousers and other gear
