Really used to suffer with this when I milked cows years ago, hands were constantly wet and then dry. Best thing I found was Neutrogena Norwegian formula, worked great if used regularly.

Gibbs & dandy sell "o,keeffes working hands" for dry hands that crack and split. Best stuff ive used

 

Another vote for okeeffe's I have tried most of the other stuff over the last 25 years and nothing works but this stuff is excellent. Remember I work on 50 litre engines daily and when lumping 40 gallons of oil in gloves last minutes.

I find I suffer dry hands in the sun and wet hands in the rain!! Sorry, couldn't resist.

 

On a serious note, Nivea for men is very good and are a lot of girly hand creams.

Stuff called Climb on.

It's for rock climbers so doesn't soften the skin like most products. It will repair splits and all sorts. Not cheep but a tin last for ages.

You get it from climbing walls, snow and rock, joe browns those sort of places.
