Fedima are what you want and tyres direct are the go-to guys.

 

They will transform the van. Amazing grip on wet roads too. Load rating is good, speed rating is good unless you're planning a bank job.

 

You get the same life out of them as although they are much softer compound they have more tread to begin with. I never had any problems with the three sets that I used, not even a puncture.

 

I have a lot of experience pushing cheap 2WD cars to the limit

Winter Tyres are for 7 degrees and below . They are made of a much softer compound to remain supple in low temp conditions . You will destroy them in a British summer on the road .

An old firm I worked for ran winter tyres and their ivecos and they had no problems with them, they lasted as long as standard tyres.

 

They did make a big difference on grassy and slightly muddy areas

I fitted mud n snow tyres to my fiesta 18 months ago and it goes into the woods all the time. They have done 16000 miles and will do about another 3 or 4000 before I need to replace them.

My cabstar has Goodyear wranglers I think, they aren't exactly simular in size to the originals though, being 31" tall but I'm replacing them soon for smaller mud tires. Probably bf Goodrich or insa
