the biggest one i've ever had is only £20:thumbdown: but i regularly get smaller ones, maybe once every few weeks :001_smile:

Well done Cerne here's your second tip, spend your first tip wisely as you won't get many in this thankless proffesion....

 

Maybe il put it in frame Lee, and stare at it for hours thinkng at least one person appriecates our work.

Always used to cut a hedge for a little old french lady and she would always give me a tip even if it was just £2!! It might be my imagination, but I think that Europeans always used to tip. Maybe its in their culture:confused1:

 

Not complaining though!! £2 is better than nothing!!!:001_tongue:

Ha very true! its strange but the customer always comments on the groundworker when giving a tip in my experience...

don't get tips i glasgow as most folk are nobs here. But when i work in stirlingshire i get tips all the time. always cups of tea.

 

Once we all got full english breakfast made up...fresh eggs from hens outside.

 

Glasgow...not a chance!

Almost always got tips working in Germany.I used to buy the weeks grocery's from the money.In the States as often as not we would be tipped,we would pool the money and use it to fund BBQ's.
