Ran my 576xp on aspen from new and it would always cut out. Put the regular stuff in and it hasn't missed a beat since. (Still use aspen for hedge trimmer blower and 660)

Hi Treemoose,

Can you try your 576xp on Aspen again and let me know if it still cuts out?

I would think it was too lean or had something in the carb that has now moved.

Please PM or email [email protected] or tel 07568 108953

Thanks Eddie

My pb for fuel consumption with the 550 is to walk onto site with 5 litres and run out in the afternoon doing lots of light scrub and small tree clearance. might have been better with a clearing saw?

What do people think about fuel consuption on the 550/560.

Not used a 560 much yet but i do think that the 550 is a thirsty fella.

My 550 likes a drink. Reckon on softwood thinning it'll do a tank in about 20-25 min compared to more like 30-35 from a 560. Don't know how the tanks compare for size though.
