The requirements for the centre are the same for all trucks and classes of licence

It needs to be suitable, i.e. you need to be able to drive in turn and drive out (no reversing out)

not true, we reverse artics into the yard from the road, you could never turn one around yet we have a license

I'm just completing my O licence application and intend to apply for an Interim Licence (I was hoping to post it tomorrow, but once left my maintain contact at the workshop)😣. Does anyone have any tips or know what sort of arguments they are likely to accept? Will a simple explanation growing business increased work load cut it?

Has anyone had any success with apply for an interim licence?

Cheers

Whats the detail of the licence?

Does it cover the artics or something smaller?

An I license covers any size, they don't fifer estimate between class 1 or 2 vehicles

Yes they do ,they can put restrictions on the o licence ours is just for 1 vehicle upto 7.5 ton it's a restricted licence it depends on what you apply for mine is at my domestic address hence weight limit and exit forward gear which is fine and all I need.

So I can get a licence for a yard barely big enough to turn a 7500kg truck then run 20 artics and 40 trailers from there can I?
