This is a pic I took the other year of one at the yard, usually have one at home in the summer who will build her Web right across the drive under the carport.

 

I think that is just a common garden spider.

I used to put them in someone else's Web and watch the fight

Look like a young cobalt blue tarantula to me been keeping tarantula for year but not 100% from the photo but i no no they do go black when cold to try and catch ad much heat as poss maybe a ecp pet or some one got it not reliesing this T is very fast and grows very big

This was what crossed my mind. But would it survive outside in our climate? Cobalt T one of the most beautiful creations of nature
