Spiders anyone ?

We get a lot of woodlouse spiders (Dysdera crocata) here which are another on the list of indigenous species capable of delivering a bite as their mouthparts are designed to crunch through woodlouse shell.

 

This one took a dump on my hand :D

But the bites pretty rubbish to be fair Mosquito bites are much worse and the last thing a little spiddy wants to do is bite someone.... I think it's more the concept of being bitten that people don't like

OK but what indigenous or invading insect can give a bite that raises a small blister?

Years ago was moving bricks, piling them on one arm as you do, similar looking one to yours bit me on forearm and a small lump appear

Any ideas what type of spider? Found inside the house, think it but the Mrs on the back of the neck, nasty itchy bite!

 

Oh I forgot to say, thats not a glass its in but the wheel of the Hilux!! Ha Ha
