I am looking to buy 2 new saws to fill in between a ms260 and an ms660. I recently changed my 200t for a T540xp and love it. This has got me thinking about changing to Husky from stihl. Would be grateful for any recommendations.

Also does anyone else find the T540xp goes cold quickly. My 200t would only ever need the choke for the first start of the day and would start pretty much first pull after that. I do find the the 540 needs the choke after 10mins or so. Does this just need a tune?

Cheers

Jay

Choke thing on the T540 is normal it seems . Mine is the same along with every one else . Loads on here about T540 if you do a search . What capacity saws are you thinking of to fill; the gap ?

You will have a job to tune it Jay, its an Autotune model. It sorts itself out.
