Tree can't be felled otherwise the forestry team would have done it. It would side up one of 2 of the oldest wellingtonia a in uk

 

There's quite a bit of decay. Hollow stem and buttress roots decayed on underside.partially lifted root plate. No other tres to tie in to.

Out of interest do you guys think this tree is safe to climb? 35m Lawson cypress that was upright until last weeks storm[ATTACH]149276[/ATTACH][ATTACH]149277[/ATTACH]

 

Yep no problem,what ever you weigh won't effect climbing it. Looks a good root system. Another challenge and you won't have to climb all the way to the top.
