MEWP Usage

Thought that with all the recent MEWP talk, I'd deflect general discussion to let Tony's thread get back to it's purpose with regards to the Guide, so general MEWP issues could be posted on this old nugget.

Was really wondering if any of you north of the border had info on

who,

how often

and how do they trim the "Meikleour Beech Hedge"

Must be by Platform.

Been past it a few times, but never after any recent work.

Can't really be bovered to start another one of Monkeyd's pointless but mildly amusing forum fillers, so thought I'd resurect this old dog of a thread.

Re-reduced this Lombardy yesterday, 5 years on from last reduction.

Decided to do get one of the team to use old Nelly here, partly because she was stood there in this Cricket field looking sad and lonely, and partly cause it was overhanging a School sports hall with the prevailing breeze blowin toward the building.

Old Nelly hadn't been taken out on a date for a few months and the charge was a little low, so left it on the generator to warm her up, the day before.

Cutting a dull story shorter than it could be (I'm quite obviously a wee bit bored)

the charge didn't hold and the bank of 8 batteries decided to not play ball, so even upon switching over to diesel, she was far from happy enough to continue.

So the team made an executive decision and muggins got sent up with a silky to finnish it off. :001_rolleyes:

don't you mean sky(rocket) david? i thought a whistle was a suit.:confused1:

'Whistle' is indeed a suit in CRS, as you have quite rightly pointed out Penfold me old mucker.

But as you can clearly see form this rare photo of Arbis-Humphriesii, this Super Hero is actualy donning his Arboricultural Suit of Omnipotence

So I doth stand vindicated
