Who sharpens a saw like this

I was grinding some stumps for a council this week and a lad was sharpen his saw like this as a 6ft 1 17 stone lump I carnt bend that way I was just wondering if any 1 can sharpen like this

No chance, got to sit holding the saw upright between my legs but that's because my knees are shot and had half of 1 kneecap out so bit lacking in bend.

Might be ok doing it that way with a 088 on a cold day to warm your nether region

I could twenty years ago, now I use a vice on the chipper .

I mounted a vice on my chipper for these jobs

And on a steep incline as well! No but I probably could in my dexterous 20s. Now I struggle to do my own laces.

I always rest it against he side of the hopper keeps the saw still and gives me somewhere to sit and work, it's horrible trying to do it on the ground like that
