Got a feeling this one will be scraped too, unfortunately they have just had both footplates replaced by local welder 👎 You'd have thought they'd have got the drive sorted out first

The owner is away and the gardener was using the mower.

"It just died when I went into reverse, no funny noises or anything" he said. "Cant be much wrong can there?" he asked.

Update.

The owner is back from his holidays and is now cutting his grass on a shiny new Siga 740 PWX. Result!

Afternoon all,

Has anyone got lying around a 2nd hand or new self propelled transmission for a Honda HRB425c roller mower. Mines had a major malfunction where the worm gear had been ripped out of the casing so unrepairable. I read a few weeks back on this thread that someone refurbed their transmission so happy doing the same with a redundant one.

Anyone got one?

If it helps the part number is 20001-VG8-851.

Thanks in advance.

Help please.

I'm looking for a small ride-on mower for domestic use only. I don't really want one with the Shute that sticks out of the side that goes to the collection bag/box.

I was thinking about something like this.

mtd pinto | eBay

Any tips, do's and dont's?

Thanks.

Egg.

Hi Egg,

It's a good mower but only for lawn grass as it has a walk behind 6.5hp engine.

Not good for long or wet grass because to chute is steep.

No rough stuff or you will brake it!!

Engine to Deck Spacers?

The blade holding disc assembly is finished on a Rover esxl.Trying blade adaptors with standard type blades (not the disc setup) the blades are sitting beneath the deck skirt. What spacers do you use to raise the engine to avoid this? Bought?Home made?Or is there a very short blade adaptor?

Cheers

Ps are these disc assemblies for Rovers still available? Would need the boss adaptor part replaced too.

Cheers
