Have a look at the Trallnore. They seem quite light but in use has stood up to all asked of it. Use it for logs chip and mucking out. Large rocks and breeze blocks would probably dent it.

 

Good barrow, second only to the Dutch made "Fort smb 100" which is virtually indestructible. Saw a demo where they put one on it's side, then pushed down on the side with a 1.5T digger until the digger was on one track.

Fort is owned by some French company now, that also own belle and thus they don't sell them here. The UK market version is orange, for Belle.

I think Travis Perkins stock a brand called "4trade", similar to the hammerlin ones but not as fancy, think they might be made by the same folk just different name so a bit cheaper possibly. I picked one up surplus from a builder mate of mine and its a tough old thing

 

Still quicker to chuck logs down the embankment though! ;)
