I have an esse 200 and am happy with it. set up for multi fuel but only ever burnt wood. It's not connected to radiators though. I was told to keep away from cheap chinese ones as they can't take the heat..

I have a dovre, it heats up the floor (no radiators) . And heats the water for my bath, shower, ....

Seems good quality, as we are still not moved to our new house :-).

They look like they work really well but you'd think twice before you built one in the front room. A pile of bricks held together with fire clay and a 45 gallon drum will take some getting used to.

I have wood fired Esse range for cooking and hot water.

 

(So do we John,) plus a large Arrow for rads (23)& hot water all run through a dunterly boiler thing, all run very well with no problems, and do what they are supposed to. I have supplied logs for a long time to customers with log burners, main feedback is; avoid anything cheap from places like machine mart.

Clearview seem to be the very popluar up here with log customers. Get the stove properly installed, and only use well seasoned dry wood to avoid problems!

Handol/Contura 51l Been more than happy with it very easy to use with only one air control.

 

I haven't got experience with many others but my friends who have a Firebelly and a Clearview tend to look a bit envious when its going.

 

No hot water and only wood fuel though.
