Thing is if we ever needed to try and claim for something they'd find a loophole to get out of paying us but they know every penny they can get and then moan wen they've spent it all on extra strong cider or fags or wen its been cut GET A JOB LIKE THE REST OF US HARD WORKING PEOPLE ...rant over

£26000 devided by 52=500 pw tax free ,no wonder ther strugling :laugh1::laugh1:

 

Minus rent at 75 per month. Minus council tax. And don't forget all the nhs benefits aswell and not paying for prescriptions......

And lets face it most of the people on benefits street if they got a job would be working for the minimum wage £6 per hour? X 40 hours = £240 a week BEFORE tax!...........its a no brainer!

I agree, but I bet you would not employ any of them!

Oh dear, do some of you really think that crap is a genuine documentary? Its a load of stage managed BS!

 

The program might have a good bit of editing etc. but the situation is real. Some of us just live a bit closer to it than others to witness it first hand.

Did hear something on Jeremy vine, saying they edited it to portray the street in a very poor light. Who knows?
