I would rather buy 3 tidy second hand ones for that money.

There are some good second hand "sleepers" out there, if the sellers took them for repair, the repair would be expensive.

I have bought a couple £150 -£200. Bit of seals, bearing, carb work now perfect.

If you bought a new one in box, how could you ever use it.

Agreed, after 6 months work its going to be worth half that value and the auction hasnt even finished yet.

Good 200's do come up often on ebay for a good price, often badly listed using a title just like "chainsaw" etc which will limit the hits to the ad.

Got both of mine for under £200 each, one came with new bar and chain.

Crazy money for 200t, wonder what it will go for?

What's nice the price or the 200? Crazy money. Suppose it just go,s to show how crap the 201 is?

That's what I thought, if someone is prepared to pay above rrp for the 200t.

I bought my 2007 200t from ebay for £240 with a big metal toolbox full of chains, files and lots of other tools. Guess I could be lucky but it runs perfectly.

Only thing I can think why someone who would pay out even£700 would be someone just starting up and have saved hard for there first new saw.new 200 are not easy to find but even so that's crazy money. Bet the guy who.s selling it wish she had a few more. Can.t see any one who.s been in the game a while forking out that kind of money. Nice saw though and still the dogs.
