Well that was a busier Christmas Eve than I was planning.

First a leylandii up by the root plate.

Then a fallen ivy-covered dead larch

The, in the dark, installing a rod brace in a willow that had split down a weak union.

Now I will be going out to try and find a garage open so as to buy a present for my wife.
