Well that was a busier Christmas Eve than I was planning.

First a leylandii up by the root plate.

Then a fallen ivy-covered dead larch

The, in the dark, installing a rod brace in a willow that had split down a weak union.

Now I will be going out to try and find a garage open so as to buy a present for my wife.

I wonder how many people are wishing they had just accept that quote that they had felt was just to much and had not kept holding out for someone who would do it for the wood:sneaky2:

dealt with 14 trees today , i put the tack in for the horse but was able to barrow a backhoe so did it in 3 hours,

 

when a machine is bust you do miss them as our backhoe has had it

Got called out to this Rowan this afternoon for the firm I work for, completely rotten at the roots, took the corner of the roof, the gutter and the tv aerial off the neighbouring property :001_cool:
