Called in the utility guys to clear ivy from a service pole before I went in to trim conifers, ivy growing out of the conifers were contacting the wires.

 

This is NOT a dig at utility guys, this is a dig at inexperienced chainsaw operators, it could have been done in normal arb clearing a tree trunk :sneaky2:

 

The pole was cut a 1/4 way through and even had a gob cut in, couldn't decide whether they were clearing the pole or felling it.

 

....and they went home with a done in chain :bored:
