Tree felling in russia....!

Good points, but by the same token, most people would just assume that no one is stupid enough to fell a tree in a public area with no warning signs or cordon.

True, although its pretty obvious whats going on. We visited Gozo this summer, a local road was being dug up, machinery everywhere, trenches 2m deep, etc. No barriers, no tape, and excavator buckets slewing all over the shop, and yet it was still open for pedestrians to dodge through. Sure you can take your chances but you'll stand a much better chance by taking note, and being more aware of your surroundings.

That's not in Russia, it's in Largs....

 always throwing in a dig

Same in Malta a couple of years back Rowan, cranes lifting skips full of rubble off buildings over live traffic and pedestrians, chains and shackles being set by a lad who looked about 16 wearing nowt but safety shorts.

Mental.

Thats on a par with their driving.

Youtube is full of outrageous Russian accidents.

It just seems to be the Soviet way.

That can be a skewed opinion, as in Russia most cars are fitted with cameras so a lot more accidents are caught on film. Pretty sure if a lot more cars in the UK had cameras there would also be a larger amount on content on the tube.

But yeah they are a little bit more cavalier on the road than we are. Again we often judge by our own society standards.
