bowl turning thread

Been a while since I finished a bowl. Turned this bit of birch that had split badly. Considered getting some resin and filling them but decided it wasn't worth spending the money on it lol. Don't know really. I've stored everything as blanks. Some I can see are better but sometimes I choose a poorer piece of wood for practice. I've just finished work for a couple of weeks so I should make an effort now to get some better ones roughed out
