just done a bit of that walnut that delabodge has asked for me to turn in to bowls and it looks great, a little bit of ripple included in this one and considering i only gave it one coat of oil it looks really nice.

cheers guy, this is definitely one of those times where the wood does most of the work and i can take the credit.

 

 

have had a bit of trouble with sanding some of the walnut as it's a bit on the softer side for timber and i've had even more trouble with catalpa as it tear so easily...

 

 

delabodge, i'll get on with some soon mate and try to give you loads for christmas.
