Some great turnery above, as ever. Awesome HF's Terry!

 

-Steve what finish are you using on those recent bowls - looks flawless?

 

A few contributions of my own from over the Christmas period - nice to be able to get in the Workshop...

 

A Tiger Oak HF, Cherry rim bowl, and a Spalted Beech OG bowl.

A few recent bowls .... 1st an Ash bowl 15" dia and wire brushed with angle grinder to give a sand blasted like surface and then treated with liming wax , interior left natural wood , 2nd is a small forked plank from a Birch ..

i think this one is a hoax as over the last 6 months they seem to be listed fairly regularly at stupid cheap starting prices. there is no information with this listing. and i've seen that picture before.

Norway spruce burr lovey and soft .... Maybe too soft with rot in it ,left it being chased down to something resembling a dish ! But glad it got put too one side.

Think your right, when I put the link up the lathe was not far from you, now one very similar has been listed in Bolton, strange thing is the part turned bowl is exactly the same as in the previous listing :confused1:
