Dont you have to be 18 years old to do tree work?. I thought i heard that some where.

No, my son is 17 and my apprentice, he has already taken three of his saw units and his chipper ticket, all through Myercough Collage.

I believe he is the youngest person they have put through saw tickets.

Come and work for me for a day and I'll tell you how much you're worth.

I've had guys with more qualis than you who should have paid me, they were such a liability.

I've also had guys who couldn't write their name on paper but were superb arborists.

Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

If only the univerity educated fake world Eurocrats and Bureaucrats knew this!

Many are underperforming their capabilities due to a few bits of paper. :thumbup1:

Well most places you have to be 18 to buy a saw (b&q and the like).

I imagine so long as you have your tickets you can purchase a saw through a dealer since you have your certificate of competence regardless of your age. Is this right?

Correct, and the minimum age for tickets is 16
