Please bare with me as I know questions have been asked previously about this truck but what are people's opinions? I only ask as I have seen one for sale 5 miles away from me that looks pretty smart and I don't think the price is all that bad but it's got 109k on the clock. Would this be too much mileage to put any of you off or are they good for more?

Mines got 110k on it, 3 yrs old and is just about run in lol

Thankfully im getting the d-max soon (month or so)

I do long motorway journeys and the seats i find uncomfortable with no lumbar adjustment to speak of ( there is a lever but does bugger all)

The steering wheel adjustment is also just about as useful, has 2 settings up is too high and low is as you can probably guess..too low.

The stereo is utter pants (the clarion model) it has only one saving grace it has an ipod connection so even though i get a really shitty fm signal i can at least play my own tunes.

The rear cab is pants but to be fair that is an aftermarket thing (an aerodeck), i can get into the back quicker without a key than with it. The rear window of the truck has a split rear screen but the aerodeck doesnt so long stuff cant poke through the window.

The paint has come off the rails on top despite never been used.

The seats are a bugger to clean.

Turning circle is pretty useless but i guess thats thanks to 4wd and long wheel base and applies to any vehicle of this type.

The gearbox is a bit iffy. 3rd gear on mine is and always has been a real bitch.

Selecting 4wd can take a while (high or low range) and even longer to go back to 2wd.

The fuel filter supposedly only needs to be changed when the light on the dash comes on but so far it has had to be changed at every 12k service. ( when you test drive, see if a yellow light pops up intermittently on the dash display).

Engine has been fine, although quite thirsty once over 60mph.

Drive sensibly and you should get high 20s mpg

It used to eat fuses... Im pretty sure it was to a badly fitted towbar electrics from OEM.

A bit of a handful on greasy roundabouts... Had a couple of tankslappers in mine and needed to stop and buy new undercrackers!

Some of the above may just be issues to my model/ my own vehicle but check it thoroughly and dont forget that all important service history!!

One aggravating bug bear is ignition key...

It sits proud and is a light touch...put em in your pocket and its a lucky dip if your vehicle is locked or unlocked as you walk away

Any questions or worries ask away.
