I never tried any other saws, didn’t try this 1.  I just buy stuff.  
it’s on a 6t machine.

 

used it today around the yard cutting back some overhang.  Just amazing sitting cutting and lifting limbs knowing how much time and effort it saves.

What’s the chain speed Steve? Is there a chain shot/safety zone issue or can it be used within sensible distances of 3rd parties?

Using the kubota yesterday to drag and wrestle these Poplar sticks to road side for the timber trailer. Didn't bother with grab as knew it wouldn't open wide enough. Push them up at one end with bucket and get chain under then drag / wiggle them down the hill. Happy days

I am sure that the chain speed is less than 25m/s for all non forestry spacific cutters. Chain shot is not an issue at these speeds.

Nice pics! Good work! What flail make /size is that? Been looking at several option for my Hitachi 5tn… to keep rides clear, trim some unaccessible hedges etc. I have a 2.85m flail on tractor for field work..

just had a hydraulic thumb fitted, looks handy! Saves swapping for seperate grab…
