Got our Sany set up somewhere near now. Very impressed with the spec as standard. 2 proportional Aux functions as standard. Both have I think 8 presets so you can vary the flow in 5% increments, means we can have the rotator on the grab at 5% and the flail set to 100% and you just change the setting on the key pad when you change the implement. Not used it in anger to know general running etc, but all looks sound enough.

Local dealer had one in stock as well which is always a nice surprise in the current climate.

Made this video this morning, making the most of the sunny spell! Didn't come out quite as smooth as I had in my mind when I thought of it, but quite pleased with the effect non the less.

Looks good - I’ll follow your progress with the Sany with interest!

I’d suggest getting cab guards if sending it out handling timber…

Yes, guards are next on the to-do list!

Can you share some more pics of your grab to hitch bracketry please? Looks like it's mounted 90degrees to how grabs are usually mounted to the tophat. Looks like a harford sl30 hitch, which I have on a 2.4ton takeuchi, so would be interested in how you get on with your solution

Not Arb work but what a pair these 2 make! Yanmar micro and slanetrac dumper. The slanetrac was bought new back in February with no work lined up for it, but I was ready to buy my first financed machine and it was what made most sense. Its been an absolute god send and I don't know what I'd have done without it since it arrived!

Approximately 100 tons out of a back garden in 2 easy days, then another 15 as an extra a couple of days later.

The last couple of  pictures are spreading 21 tons of Type 1, using the digger, muck truck, slanetrac and whacker plate, which all fit on the trailer in a legal load👌

These setups have always been handy and good enough earners.

My setup all fitted on a 10ft ifor tipper and was one of the very first hi tip tracked Hinowa in the UK.

It would still be a decent enough setup now.

Very smart, I'd be perfectly happy running that today as well.

I spent many evenings after school on a hinowa like that when I was 14, 20 years ago, bumping out paving  slabs and shifting soil on one of my Dads sites.

I never used a tracked dumper to match it till I got the slanetrac, all the others were either weird- strange forward tipping arrangements,  high masts that you have to look round- or just not very good😅

They come up for sale for 2500 ish every so often now, I'm very tempted to get one  to tidy up for a bit of a fun project and to use as a back up/second machine to the slanetrac 😅🤷‍♂️

The Hinowa was great but just needed the tip angle modding a bit (I never got around to it) as you end up giving them a jolt to get the last bit out when tipping.

If you zoom in on the engine, you’ll see an additional downward pointing silencer box.

Best mod ever, just a simple Mini silencer box from the local exhaust place, it totally transformed it with the noise reduction.

Be a nice Log Splitter platform if you could pick one up cheap enough.
