Hmm it seems the arb world is in a major decline! Few months ago a bloke fancied his groundy, now this, personally I'd demote your groundy to brash dragger, and dock him a weeks pay, and give him a written warning!

Ok, it was a courtesy car so it's not his fault but:

It did have a cream interior!

It's a very girlish car!

Maybe it's just me but I like them. My mother once had a yellow Fiat 600 and that went on and on and on. My grandfather had a green Fiat 500 and my grandmother a cream Fiat in the 60s & 70s. Basic cars without a doubt but very reliable and cheap to run. The new ones are over priced for what they are, (a Panda with a different body-shell). But still they have their charm.

Though if I had the money, I'd buy another Panda. My first Panda did 93,000mls before 3rd gear and the speedo packed. But carried onto approx. 126,000 without 3rd, before finally failing an MOT. My second Panda did 133,000 on the same clutch and eventually failed an MOT at 163,000. Fiats may not be glamorous but you get a reliable vehicle for not much money. And they're cheap to run and insure.

Just one reservation - they ought not be painted any shade of pink. But then, nor should any vehicle. Pink has its place in the world but place starts and finishes with bubblegum.
