Can the chain from a MS200 be run on the t540?

Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

Not counted the drivers but on a 14" ms200 you had two identical cutters consecutively ( 2 lh or 2 rh ) on a 14" Husky you don't . So thinking a different number of drivers on a 14" at least .

????????

Is that because of different sprocket size.

Sorry for being dumb.

You will need a longer chain for a 14"husky than a 14"020.

No you can't swap chains! But FWIW here. You can use the 1.1mill wide chain from the 192 on a 536 LiXP. That's because the sprocket is covered by a removable 'spring ring'.

If you swap the standard chain for an Oregon, got mine of ebay, you will notice a big difference in how well it cuts especially if you need to bore into a cut.

One observation that I forgot to mention is the amount of torque the saw has.

Noticeably more than an MS200t.

I noticed this when chogging down a Cypress and my groundie notice it too.

Tried one for the first time today, seems pretty damn good and as close as you'll get to a 200t. Granted it was only a willow pollard but even on the stuff over bar size (14") it powered through without stopping. Looking forward to trying it on a big hardwood dismantle!

Any 3/8" lopro/picco .050 chain can be used, as long as the dl count is correct.

A loop that fits a MS200 is not likely to have the correct dl count for the Husky.

No. The called length of bars are not accurate, and specially not in 3/8" lopro/picco. Edited by SawTroll
