£ 60 this year as timbers gone up life hopeing 10 years plus secondhand tate boxes are in there thirtys now and most 15 to 20 years old.

yep its a five tonner with a fixed rotater 9 tine hardox grab 4500

 

I seriously looked at them boxes at cereals and they do look the nuts. They were 55 each back in the summer, but came to conclusion id need 100 at least to make the switch to boxes stack up and couldnt justify £5500 on boxes and a further 1500 on a decent rotator. Decent 2nd hand potato boxes are 10-20 quid round here.

Is the meterage capacity the same for log boxes as the potatoe ones? 1.6m3?

The boxes are 1.65 but i sell them at 1.5 after seasoning and i have over 600 now. and ben would love more old boxes in good condition but lowest round here was £28 . got my box rotators second hand £500
