the last bad storm around my way was about 2007 - it started on a sunday morning -quite exciting to be honest being out during the storm - got about 2 months work out of it

Sorry, saturday nights a whiskey night for me, sunday is the only day of the week i dont work. so saturday night is kick back and relax night. Then spend sunday with the family.

I did years of call outs! Earned some good money. The thought of the phone ringing at this time on a Saturday night makes me shudder.

No cider tonight me old mucker. When you do standby/call out, it takes over your lifte. Every time there is a wedding, christening, Christmas, new year. You can't make it. Because you are on standby.
