front mount chipper on a mog

i will be using my 3 point winch(if i can afford one)on the rear linkage of the mog unless i can find a winch that will accept the pto running the opposite way. as long as the angle isnt too tight i would think the linkage would hold up, but it will depend on how bogged you might be. but hopefully i will never find out lol:001_smile:

 

 

I guess that the winch you will get will have a ground anchor like Daves one?I thought you were going to mount your Werner winch on three point linkage so thats where I was wrong.

i see mate, easy mix up. i know how bogged a mog can get, i have done it once and had to get my mate up with his hgv recovery wagon, lucky he was a mate.:ohmy:

Any progress on mounting the chipper up front? I just asked A. Price if I should incorporate a slip clutch in the drive somewhere, and he suggested a shear pin instead. He says the slip clutches sometimes seize if they are never loaded, etc.

its in the spray shop mate getting tarted up as far as i know, hopefully get it next week. will keep you posted :001_smile:

she is loaded up awaiting delivery on tuesday, not long to wait.i am really happy with the paint job:001_smile:

 

Yeeeaaarrrrgghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Finally. Shame they mounted it the wrong way roun though eh stevie!:001_tongue::001_tongue:
