Nice tractor, I've used a Deutz Agrokid which is essentially the same. My workhorse is a Goldoni Star, 70hp VM also with Sigma4 loader, and I really rate small Italian tractors (and loaders, I use a little 20hp Multione around the yard). Like me you've got the track maxed for loader stability and like me, I think, your hub seals have suffered. Replacing is straightforward, but constant loader work isn't really what these were built for. If you sell it you'll miss it. Cheap simple old tractor sounds good, with loader or even 3pl forklift if it's just shuttling pallets.

The old leylands seem to go pretty cheap as well, and make a great yard tractor.

International was the way I went. With a good loader being the important bit. My 885xl will lift 1 ton without weight at the back although its not recommended as any sudden movements causes stability issues. Will also lift a ton on pallet toes on the rear. Much chaper than equivalent ford or MF. Slight down side is the use of hytrans oil meaning you cant borrow implements which may have other oils in rams etc, I dont farm with mine so not a problem. The only other thing I dont like about it is the road speed. Its very slow, but I suppose thats maybe not an issue for yourself. Im currently transporting oak logs from 17 miles away with mine. Takes near 1 1/2 hours each way.

How much if you don't mind me asking? I paid £1800 for my 454, excellent engine but cab panels a bit rotted. Good safety frame and roof, that's all I need! So I sold the doors

totally agree i have a ih 434 1969 and 475 1976 and neighbour has got a case 485 4wd all three are cheap to run and arent expensive to buy but are good tractors simple to keep running:thumbup:
