I have had my chipper for about a year and have been keeping it at home but now I have got a container on a farm so need to get insurance for it and my other tools. problem is I bought it off ebay, checked it hadn't been nicked and I foolishly didn't get a receipt for it. so if it were to get stolen the insurance company said I need to prove I actually own it. do I contact timberwolf for a proof of ownership certificate if they even do that? any thoughts much appreciated.

we have just started using alphadot and its on everything from the chipper to trailers stump grinders , diggers vehicles to all the saws blowers etc climbing kit (however not sure how long it will last on that stuff) and registered with them also UV marked all the kit as well with company ser number last name and postcode and then advertised that its marked with stickers.

i know it wont stop it getting stolen but it sure as hell is linked to us even if its striped for parts :sneaky2:
