  4. Ok so a bit of a rant and know doubt this will split the masses on opinion. how many of you see on a near day to day basis the have a go tree surgeon / gardener? No PPE shorts trainers one hand on a ground saw from a ladder poor work man ship etc etc Do you take pictures? should you? and then put them on the internet to try and hinder them trading? because in my eyes they shouldn't be doing that work if there not qualified to do so. we all have to go out spend grands on kit, insurance training etc. this is not a jab at being under cut buy them or losing work to them because there welcome to it just promotes using a pro in the first place. whats everyones thoughts on the "rouge trader"

  7. got to give a price to prune a large copper beech up in leeds problem is iam not from round there. i would Imagen permission will be denied anyway but whats the council like to deal with in that area ? who is the Tree Officer ? if they do grant the work i will be looking for a reliable out fit to work with me on it cheers

Hi all looking for someone who has a bandit or equivalent around liverpool to do some chipping on a site clearance. the stuff will be stacked in piles with a machine an selector grab. looking to be started august time subject to ecology report. i will also be looking for 2 cutters for this job must have saw relevant tickets and ppe. if your interested please inbox me your particulars/rates cheers

  13. to start with i want an ecologist , arb consultant an hopefully the tpo officer all to meet on site. iam pretty sure that if i start the job the ID will be coming in thick and fast for you guys
  14. i am happy with the Natural England stuff spill kits bio oil in the saws soft fell rigging down the trees to minimize impact blah blah but i mean the kind of stuff thats not nessersrly covered the stuff thats been learned by the blokes on the ground maybe stuff you would or wouldn't do again given the chance
  15. hi all few questions if you may. I have been asked to give a price though a contact i do alot of work for on a sssi site mostly pruning crown lifting etc but there looks like there may be the odd bit of felling/ dismantling but i have not been to see the job yet so not sure on that. although iam confident that they want to use my services. i havent worked on a site like this before so is there anything apart from the obvious i need to be aware of and learning points from folks who have done this kind of work before. would be great to hear everyones experiences. Thanks in advance

  18. i use a 211 for small felling and about 80% of dressing cant fault it. and its nice and cheep
