Anyone planted a tree in honour of there kids?

I'm not religious so didn't bother getting our child christened, I was good mates with the vicar at the time (he enjoyed the pub) so rather than a full christening we had a tree planting in the grave yard and a blessing.

 

This is Rowan today and her tree :thumbup1:

She loves that tree. I'm glad it's so healthy as the previous ground contractors strimmed the out of it. Luckily a mate of mine mine has the contract now and looks after it

Now I was going to say something along those lines but thought it mite be insensitive, best get a strimmer guard round it :thumbup1:
