shame, the sequoia is a nice harness, would be all the better for a seat hope they get it sorted eventually. klaymeb uses one and she finds its the only one that doesnt crush her hips.

I am currently climbing with a Butterfly II harness, i really like it. But i am thinking of trying something else to see how it compares. Maybe a Petzl Sequoia or a Tree Flex. Anyone have opinions on any of the 3 mentioned(good or bad)? Are there any others out there any better? Cheers. :001_cool:

one that fits your style off climbing. just try loads till one suites it, simpals as a meercat would say :confused1: are you ?

Deffo try before you buy, and quick release buckles will save you loads of time over the life of the harness. Clunk click, harness off, tea with two. Lovely.

I like my Butterfly II, apart from the stupid piddly elastic straps coming undone / pinging my butt cheeks in conifers, and the complete inability for the buckles to remain where you set them for waist / leg loops.

Had the same thing happen to me, in a conifer, the oter day with my TM, ouch, wish they put padding in the arse of trousers as well.

Been reading this thread with interest, as i feel it is time to retire my old Skybelt after 10 year's. Bloody hell there are some fancy looking harnesses out there! Tree motion, tree magic, kolibri etc. Make's you realise how quickly thing's improve in such a short time! Does anyone else still use the sky belt ? I think i'll have to try a few on to make a decision as suggested above in several post's, where in Scotland is there a supplier who will have a few in stock to try, or will i have to wait till the AA show to try them out ?

Looked at treeflex, and treemotion, hmm great harness', went with the petzl none srt sequioa, already got my swivel on the bridge along with a small paw, loads of adjustments, just the dogs dangly regions. Fantastic positioning cant complain at anything.

I have got the treeflex and it is the first harness i have really got along with, i love it! I like the fact there are plenty of attachment points and you can hang your saw directly at the back instead of the sides. The bridge is adjustable and the leg straps are clipped which saves adjusting them each time. The back support is great and the side D's are not fixed so don't get caught up (unlike the EKN that i had last) I love my harness :)
