Which harness to buy?

Is there a scottish trade fair type thing? What are the odds that this is how the aa trade fair started out? I suppose the royal highland show is probably the nearest thing is it? or scotsturf?

Harness` are notoriously bad to predict which one suits you. as everyones body styles, sizes and techniques are different.

 

Best advice is to ring Craig at Trees unlimited on 0113 229 6006 or go into his shop in Leeds and swing on the ones in his "interactive " shop.

Neither the Highland Show or Scotsturf have any climbing gear to my knowledge, I think we could do with a Scottish trade fair TBH, In fact Jonsie why don't you get a stand at the Highland show or the game fair at scone? If everyone knew you were going I reckon you'd do ok.

 

If anyone does want me to get a dealer to come to the get together I am sure I could, I know they have visited colledges to let the students try the gear.

Got an old skylotek without leg buckles, anyone know if its possible to replace the leg straps as its a real pain to get on and off (good harness though)?

rumour has it fletcher stewart are bringing out a new version of the kolibri with a removeable/replaceable bridge. Having a removal bridge gives one the ability to clip place krabs, paws, swivels directly on the bridge without having to use an extra karabiner or mallion, also a round bridge allows smoother movement than the wide webbibg stuff. Also yu really do want fast buckles dont u, did like the look of that american buckingham harness, can we use them over here

only sit harnesses for me, i cant be doing with the leg loops ones they crush my nads big time and i get distracted by it, the sit ones are really comfortable for me.

No it doesn't I spoke to them a month ago and they have pulled it until next year due to manufacture problems.
