Which harness to buy?

I am currently climbing with a Butterfly II harness, i really like it. But i am thinking of trying something else to see how it compares. Maybe a Petzl Sequoia or a Tree Flex. Anyone have opinions on any of the 3 mentioned(good or bad)? Are there any others out there any better? Cheers.

Would highly recommend a tree motion there super comfy! I used to climb in a butterfly before i got the treemotion and i would not go back. Saying that i havent tried the sequia or tree flex.

Sequoia! So light and simple and comfy.

I have a tree flex which I dont like.

Its a bit tight in the groin area sometimes:scared1:

Although comfort is a personal thing and it may suit some the bridge is a big let down imo not very well thought out.

What about that new Buckingham one or the Weaver cougar? I use a Tree Austria, its very nice. Or hows about the Skylotech kolibri, the tree magic or the treemotion.

Ive tried the treeflex and the Sequoia and didn't rate either but you might find them supper comfy.

I used a load of different ones at college and bought a kalibre multi-slide, i personally find it really comfy,but if you're spending the whole morning hanging in it, you have to make sure the leg supports are round the back of your legs, i also have a wheelans for my rescue kit.

i used to climb on a butterfly:thumbdown: a lot before i bought myself a elderid tree magic:icon14:, and it is so much more comfy and allows so much more movement than the butterfly. i didn't have my harness with me yesterday and had to climb in a butterfly and i found it really uncomfortable compared to the tree magic. Tree magic all the way:thumbup1:

You probably would have to get them sent over and wouldn't be able to try them first, but dont they look great

Treemotion all the way for me.... top harness.

 

The Skylotec is also a good harness, very wel made and the leg supports are awesome, still prefer the Treemotion though.

 

If you're after a basic and useable harness, you won't go far wrong with the weavers - dont like them personally but they seem pretty robust and functional.
