When i was at college doing my cs units, i did 30 and 31 and had them both written on the given on the day, and when i did my 38 and 39 the assessor only wrote 39 on the ticket, i've actually only just noticed this while going through old paperwork, on my actual certificate from college for the whole course its down that i did the 4 units individually while there, but just on this ticket it says CS39, will this be a problem in the future??

Hi mate yeah it was fine before and nobody else has had their grubby mits on it.........................i'll run the fuel down tomorrow and see what happens, cheers.

I hang my saw on the straps and clip it on a carritol in between use if you get what i mean...............yorkshire pud what do you mean by putting the straps over your leg???

The old fuel is a possibility, but the mix is the same as ever, i'll run it down tomorrow and top it up with fresh, the saw itself sounds and feels fine, hopefully it'll just be that..................

My 200t is chucking out a whitey/blue smoke, now the mixture is fine, so what else is it likely to be? P.S It's not been used in a while as i've been using the works one.

I've got a job coming up to remove some hawthorn trees for a client who's building a house, what would be a good species to replant to create some privacy, not be high maintenance and not have prolific roots that cause problems later on??? some will be planted about 8ft from where the house will be built, he is putting up a 6ft fence all the way along too, so it doesn't have to be trees that go in, just something that will create some added privacy??? Cheers

Always the way aint it...................................i'm in the middle, well i hope its a bit more than the middle, of an access court case for my daughter, seems only the solicitors win, with the money they are making!!!! The last day in court, with barristers the whole lot, she didnt even turn up, but what gets me even more, her barrister and my barrister were quite clearly good friends and will prob have the whole thing played out already.............yet i'm sitting here stumping a legal bill and basically running a treadmill!!!!!! Sorry to go off track, but solicitors who'd have them!!!!!!!!!!

I asked for some too and got knocked back.......the relief when they put it in was worth any amount of money, wasn't so keen on the luminous yellow snot though!!!!!! I can still feel mine now if i rub my eye too hard, gotta be one of the most irritating injuries going................

Some bloke found it in a wood at the bottom of a tree, i thought it was the thing they use for wall climbing, so couldn't understand why it was in a wood...........

Well got the phonecall today and the job is not going to be happening this year.............................. this is due more to the fact that they cant provide the various things i need at the moment. Bit of a pisser but what can you do.........i think they thought i could just pop out on my own and do anything that was required, they did say that they would have another look at it next year and see if they could find a budget that would allow the necessary things for the job, so i guess we'll wait and see....................i might be more expensive by then though..............

Anyone got any pics of it to show us, i climb on a prussik too, but if something is gonna give me a bit more speed round the tree i'm all up for that.

Very funny.......i'm originally from Brighton and the only sore arse i got was from worms.........well thats what i say anyway........................i did this ride when i was a nipper, at the time i was one of the youngest to do it, about 13 yrs if i remember correctly. Its a fun day out and even if you're not in tip top shape you'll get through it, unless they've changed the route, its got some amazing downhill sections that are well needed, not too good going up ditchling beacon i think it is towards the end!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its Drayton estate in Lowick, just waiting on a phonecall now to see whtether its a goer or not. Shouldn't have a problem with wood and chip disposal as it'll all go on the estate, might be able to offer the facility for people around there to drop off logs chip too. I'll be alright as i'm a southerner really just live up north now!!!

How many members do we have near and around kettering??? I've got an interview for a large estate there coming up and if all is ok will be looking at relocating, some of my family live there, but thinking more along the lines of helpful contacts for that area..........

Anyone got any tips or advice for footlocking??? i've been asked to be part of the climbing team for college for the comp in may at merrist wood, we've not done any footlocking and although i know the principles, am wondering if you have any tips that make it easier..........also do you have to wear chainsaw boots or can you do it in walking boots???
