  1. Now this may be a stupid question, but if i've got a trailer thats, 8ft x 4ft and just under 2ft deep, whats the cubic metre capacity to hold split logs???? :blushing:
  2. I dont think cheaper always gets the job, i've put in quotes for jobs, to find they've gone with someone who's charged more, guess some people feel they're getting more for their money!!!!
  3. Dont see it as competition, one day we might be throwing each other work..........
  4. The lads doing the diploma course go upto further tickets too, we've had 4 weeks climbing, just on wednesdays apart from the people struggling we were doing aerial rescue last week, but we've got small groups and good tutors!!!!
  5. I think that is the same course i am doing now, the national award? We are being taught practical upto cs30, cs31, cs38, cs39, cs40 and cs41..... Although it is looking asif we have to pay the assessment fee, about £100 each.

  7. Sorry for the newby questions, but if you dont ask, you dont get!!!! How do people go about pricing work?? Daily? Hourly? Size of job? do you price differently for freelance work, depending on using their kit or yours??? etc etc Thanks in advance for any info........
  8. Did you not cover all this on the course you did at college??? I'm currently studying and we're taught the rescue as part of the course and should be doing my cs38 in november, through the college!!
  9. Hi guys, i've just started an arb course this year and just startded with the climbing, where can i find out about competitions and things to go along and have a look??? I'm in the north east of england!! Cheers
