Stihl ms 150t poor build quality ?

Yeah that happened to me twice now. Was not happy when it happened and took it back to the shop and they said use a bungy strop, but I was using one.

to your belts or pulling them

around on the strop in the tree when repositioning ?

Im suprised that mine hasnt broke as there has been a few occasions iv throw mine when a step cut has gone wrong needing a hand to grab it.

The only time really its 'dropped' is when ive done a felling cut towards me and left the saw in the back cut to stop a branch from snapping out. Other than that its not really had any drops.

Dose anyone have an update on what's happening with the lanyard clips on the back of the 150 ts ?

A guy on the stihl stand at Cirencester said they have got someone making a replacement clip. He didn't really sound like he knew what he was on about tho. I love this saw its fantastic but I think "heavy handed" people will abuse this saw. Iv put the 10" bar on instead of the 12 to stop me from using it on bigger bits and I always clip it to my harness so it doesn't get bashed about and caught up on the tree. Just needs a bit more tender loving care IMO to give the saw longevity

Tbh I would not use this saw on any thing bigger than 3-4 inch so find it hard to believe its treated hard... It's more like a motorised sugoi IMO
