Having the right and prilivage to vote is very often taken for granted in many country's where elections are still held. Just because a person is running for office and has not had a chance to meet folks in person, does not make him or her any less qualified to run for office. Being an informed voter is one thing, knowing the canadate for yourself is more important. Make the effort and Vote.

I couldn't agree more easy-lift guy, if you have the right to vote USE IT whatever party you support:thumbup:

Haven't heard anything about elections. :confused1:

Is it English local elections?

Yep. Just 35 Councils in England, so not everywhere, and 1 unitary council in Wales.

Absolutely. The normal status quo is maintained by the mainstream parties because of voter apathy.

If you don't exercise your right to vote, then you don't really have any right to complain when local or national political decisions distrupt your day to day life.

You'll be needing the 'Eugenics Party' for that! :laugh1:

Or maybe vote for the former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, as his alter ego "The Terminator":BoomSmilie_anim:

Actually I was thinking at the last local elections we only had one candidate on the ballot paper as nobody else stood, maybe even the councillors are apathetic :laugh1:

Thats the beauty of a democracy...if you dont like who you can vote for nothing stopping you from running next time around - but one thing is for sure, someone will win. If you do vote and they win...at least it is the moron you voted for!
